All THCH residents benefit from 2 free bulk rubbish collections each year. Senior citizens and residents with disabilities are entitled to unlimited collections.
The London Borough of Tower Hamlets will collect items that are too big for the usual refuse collection – for example items of furniture, white goods, rolls of carpet, computer equipment, etc.
Each collection can comprise up to five items. Five black bags count as one item
The Council requires 2 working days notice to arrange collection.
